I’ll often ask my customers about products they’d like to see. Overwhelmingly the same thing came up: “Can you make soap for kids?” Now, I don’t have children of my own, but being a child at heart I remember what I like: CANDY! This whimsical blend combines the soothing properties of taheebo bark (also known as pau d’arco from Brazil) with a delightful haberdash of honeydew melon, banana and clary sage... Great for the kid in anyone!

Long story short - kind of.I have a lot of jovial, wise guy, practical joker friends: so I called a bunch of people on their bluff when they said I should make a bacon soap...Last April Fool's Day i did. Together with my apprentice (who is one of my wise guy friends), we figured out how to maintain the high standards of the Body Eclectic line while incorporating this beloved pork product. I did Not expect it to inspire love, loyalty, and a bathing strike...So in the interest of all my wacky pork consuming friends and customers out there, this one's for you.And yes - we did have to eat 2 Pounds of bacon to acquire enough fat to produce a batch run of 16 bars.

The result is this amazing blend of cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa, clove, damiana leaf, saw palmetto, and Siberian ginseng...It's a subtly sweet, spicy, playful bar. This silky, creamy, heavenly scented bar contains sweetgrass, Shavegrass and Colorado piñon resin (infused in flaxseed oil). Originally designed as a turpentine free alternative to an old traditional African-American hair product: with its clean, woodsy, sweet aroma and the legendary properties of pine tar - Not only is it one of my favorite Body Eclectic products to use personally, I’m thrilled and honored to receive rave reviews from all races. I offered to create a signature scent for a lovely young man as a gift and way to congratulate him on his many artistic accomplishments - so asked him what his preffered scent was.His answer? "Coconut!"This was to be my greatest challenge to date, as a true coconut scented soap is exceedingly difficult to obtain - most "coconut scented" prooducts are the results of artificial fragrances...And this young man, for the 8 years I've known him, has proven anything but artificial - I honestly believe I connected directly to the Blessed Water Mother herself.
