There are many many times when, moved by some scent, or delectable delight - or some other sensory bit of bliss - that I long to visit an exotic land and immerse myself within its mysteries...
India crops up quite a bit.
So in celebration of my desire to visit (and after a 4 day Indian movie / gulab jamun* marathon), I created this heart-stopping combination of jasmine, lemongrass, vetiver and ginger...
It's so heady and sensual, perhaps it will make you feel like a Bollywood star as well!
* = Gulab Jamun (GOO-lahb ja-MOON) is my favorite dessert. Ever.
For me, it's heaven... Fried milk doughnut holes soaked in sweet rose water syrup, served warm with liberal doses of cardamom pods. bliss!
